Cesearean vs VBACs?

Question

I had a cesection with my daughter because she was frank breach(a v and legs crossed)
This time around trying to decide which to do. VBACs or cesearean again? 
I am 36 now and baby is head down. Will have 3rd ultrasound on this Friday to see how she is. 
Anyone have any suggestions? My daughter right. Ow or when baby will come she will be 3.5. Originally I though try VBACs because I will heal faster vs cesection

Personally I am just opting for another c section, but I’m high risk and having a couple different complications. If your doctor feels like you’re a good candidate for a vbac, and you want to try, then go for it!

My first was emergency c-section only because he was face up and losing oxygen. I was 9 1/2 cm before they pulled him. With my 2nd who is not even 13 months younger I had a vbac which I’m thankful for. Went to a 7 1/2 cm in an hour before even arriving to the hospital. Was too far progressed to have a repeat c-section which was scheduled out 2 weeks later. I did tear with him after fully dilated only a few stitches vs 18 staples with my c-section. I am/have planned with the dr to have another vbac with baby #3 now. 5 years apart from my youngest.

I had a C-section at 41 weeks with my first daughter after they found she was breech. With my second daughter I tried for a VBAC. She was head down and I had some contractions, but I wasn't progressing. I made it to 41 weeks which my doctor said was my cut off and ended up suffering through false labor for weeks for nothing. I had another c section and it went fine especially because I knew what to expect. I don't exactly regret trying for a VBAC, but I went through a lot of pain and added weeks of discomfort that I didn't have to go through. I'm not saying it will be this way for you, but it's a possibility. Also, if you plan on more kids later I believe it's hard to find a doctor who will let you try for a VBAC after 2 c sections. This is my third baby and I didn't get a choice because the risks increase after each surgery.

I'm definitely doing another csection. I feel like I would end up with one anyway and I dont want to go through all that pain and time and be exhausted when he could just be pulled out with no stress or complications.

Hi everyone so I’m not high risk though older. My friend had a rupture of some sort I think when she had a scheduled cesection as her second one and lost a lot of blood almost died. Now she can’t have any more kids. The last time I had a cesection was 3.5 years ago.

Im chosing another section after an emergency one last july (baby was breeh and only 24 weeks - she died 3 hours later) because I've read so many bad experiences with VBAC. I found the section to be calm and quite easy and I really need that from this birth! The thought of going through a painful labour only to end up with a section (as per most VBAC cases apparently!) is something I want to avoid! I'm also terrified of rupture since my last section was only 13 months ago. I also really want this baby to live! And csections seem to have higher success rates. It just feels safer to me, instinctively. More controlled too. And I need that!
But everyone's case is different. Talk it over with your medical professionals and go with your gut. Good luck!!

I don’t mean to discourage you but I had a vbac with my daughter (2nd baby) and the recovery was worse than the c-section. I did have 3rd degree tears and it was so painful for what seemed like months. I’m doing a c-section for this which is #3.

Vbac girl.... my story is the same and I want to heal faster so can do more with baby... u can do this...! If head down then push ur baby out..
