When are you announcing?

I keep going back and forth. I want to tell family around the 2 month mark, but cant decide if I actually want to announce on social media around 12 weeks or wait a lot longer, like closer to 20.

We wanted to wait until after 10 or 12 weeks but unfortunately had mc at 8 weeks. We told no one and I wish I told people because the support would have been great. After I told some people about my mc I was surprised to see how many had experiences and support to share. Now I am 6 weeks with rainbow baby and have told a few people that are very close.

We’ve already told family and very close friends (around 4w). The reason I announce early is to have support if things end badly. I wouldn’t want to have to hold that grief in. We will announce on social media around 15 weeks or later.

We told our parents right away (before 4 weeks) because we were just so excited and couldn’t wait. I also told some close friends before 4 weeks. Lol I’m not very good at keeping a secret. We won’t do a social media announcement until 12 weeks. Whatever you are comfortable with is best. 😊

We live in Hawaii and my parents are coming to visit when I’m about 10 weeks so I’m announcing to them the day they get here but everyone else is going to be 12 weeks (minus a few very close friends that we have told)😁🥰❤️

I had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago and told my family even before 4 weeks because we were so excited 😭 this time around I am 7w2d (everything’s looking great so fingers crossed). My mom knows a few close friends and that’s it. I am telling my bro and sis in law at 8 weeks and then social media will know around 14 weeks!

Our immediate family we told at 6 weeks. I have no idea when we will announce to the rest but probably 10-12 weeks, or maybe when we find out the gender, I have no idea haha

I have my first appointment on Tuesday 8/26 and according to the app I’m 2 months. We love Halloween so I think we’ll reveal then and do something related to whatever we decide our costumes will be! I love sewing and crafts 😍 we’ll tell our close friends and family this week once I have a sonogram to share 🤗🎃

We told my parents & sibling at 5w5d and a few close friends a few days later
 Have told one set of Grandparents a few days ago.
Part of our reason was because we are too excited and it's too hard to keep to ourselves. And partially because we figured if anything were to go wrong (heaven forbid) then at least we would have support.
Our baby will be the first of the next generation, so I also thought it important to tell my parents & grandparents so they can be apart of the whole journey.
Other family will be told at 12ish weeks, and social media announcement at around 15 weeks probably.
