when do hcg levels go back to normal?

I have been bleeding for a week now and I test to see when my pregnancy tests will be negative. I haven't had a confirmation of miscarriage yet but I just know. I'm curious as to when hcg levels go back to zero. when will I stop getting a positive test?

I lost all my symptoms within 24hrs but I had to take medication to start the process because it was a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks and we found out 4 weeks later. I’m not sure when my numbers hit 0 but after 24hrs any signs of pregnancy were gone and my numbers were at 3500000

Ok thank you. I was between 5 and 6 weeks they just called me now and said on Friday my levels were down to the 20s. That I should expect my period to come back within 4 to 6 weeks.
