Mosquito allergy?

Took my 20 month old to the park yesterday and noticed mosquito bites during bath time. When he gets bitten he gets big bumps but I notice today they have gotten worse,what can i do about them anybody else's babies get reactions like this?

Yes definitely allergic. I’m allergic and mine get huge and red/swollen like that. I would put some anti-itch cream on him and keep an eye on the bite. Make sure he doesn’t scratch because it could cause a staph infection which isn’t fun😕

That's how I get and I'm allergic. When it gets this way and allergy medicine won't help I go in. Since he's young, I'd definitely bring him in.

My son has the same reaction, an extreme one. His pediatrician calls it skeeter syndrome where toddlers are highly allergic. There are 4 levels and the 3rd one is this reaction (massive swelling) and the 4th one is anaphylactic shock which requires an epipen. The 1st and 2nd level are typical reactions like the ones I get. However, the bite in the pic looks like it needs antibiotics for an infection. Hope he gets better, Good luck. ❤

Thank you ladies I just got back from the doctor ,it was a mild allergic reaction and doctor said he will be fine in a couple of days💕
