Howd you keep you LO warm at night?

Im having a winter baby and i plan to have footsie pajamas and a swaddle. During winter our heat is usually ~$300 a month and we dont even keep it on at night. I cant imagine how much itll be if we keep it on 24/7. So howd you keep your LO warm?

You turn the heat off at night? Like completely?  If you turn it off, that’s probably part of the issue with cost, it costs so much more to completely warm or cool a house every day. You’re better off just turning it down when you go to bed. My sons room is cool, sleeping cool is actually recommended for babies.  He was a January baby and I just made sure he was in layers.  He always had a long sleeve onesie on under his shirts or pjs.

The temperature for safe baby sleep is between 68-72 degrees, you don’t need anything extra except swaddle/sleep sack and pajamas.

Always have the heating on if it's a cold night I have mine off during the day as it's usually warmed up from the night my gas and electric is only £90 a month tho

That’s all we did for our 1st we had him in June but we had nothing but low temps and rain last year all year and got snow in October

You could have a heater for just the baby's room if it still seems too cold

Sleep sacks! Our house is freezing in the winter and have baseboard heat or wood stove so we either crank the baseboards and spend $400 on hydro or use the stove and when it goes out while were sleeping we freeze. 
I found these awesome THICK sleep sacks so those coupled with fleece footie pjs our son was perfect
