My story ...
- went to a thyroid doctor in 2017 in anticipation of TTC in 2018 and was told I didn’t need meds
- started TTC in June 2018 with no success and got really defeated. Basically gave up all hope in December
- that same cycle I got pregnant but the day I found out I was already bleeding. My HCG doubled right for a week and then stopped - I bled for 29 days and was filled with fear over ectopic. The very day I was to get a methotrexate shot to end the pregnancy my HCG dropped significantly on its own. I miscarried naturally.
- put TTC on hold a cycle to see a new thyroid doctor and sure enough I should have been on meds. My biggest regret is not getting a 2nd opinion
- started trying again in February with no luck (guess I’m NOT more fertile after a miscarriage)
- started seeing an RE but wasn’t fully ready to dive into all the testing
- in May I started the test process and since then have had the uterine saline test, saline Fallopian tube test, HSG, endo biopsy, and labwork. All normal. My husband is fine too.
- HSG was this cycle and the endo biopsy which is supposed to increase our chances
- in the TWW now. If it doesn’t happen this cycle starting femara next cycle
Just writing this all out and reflecting on the last year is exhausting. I’m 31 and will be 32 in December. It shouldn’t be this hard :-(
