So I bought a diva cup several months ago and I had such a hard time with insertion. I tried a few times, failed miserably and gave up on it after two cycles.. Bought a box of tampons and carried on with those for a few months... Today is the third day of my period this month, and it is a heavy one. I decided on a whim to try the cup again and I just slid that sucker right on in. Like, it's comfortable and not leaking and just fantastic. It's admittedly kind of sad how proud of myself I am. I needed to tell someone. Haha. My husband likely doesn't want to hear of my triumph... Fingers crossed that it wasn't a fluke and I can do it again after it's time to empty it.
