7 days until my due date. Last week I was in L&D and based on their observations over 4 hours they expected I would give birth within a few days. Contractions have been irregular, but a few times in the past week for 6-8 hours at a time they started becoming regular anywhere from 5-9 minutes apart. I was told to go in when they hit 5-7 minutes apart. I have had sex multiple times (which my husband is stoked about), ate a bunch of spicy foods, have gone on hour long walks, bounced on an exercise ball for a few hours a day. I don't have my next appointment until 40w so I can't ask for a membrane sweep until then. I know she'll come when she's ready but if I can help encourage her, I want to try anything. On top of that I am supposed to work until I go to the hospital, but I'm at the point where I think this might be my last week, I'm mentally done.
