Which bassinet and WHY?

Question

MIL is offering to buy us any bassinet, these are the two we are choosing between. If you had to pick between ONLY these two which would you pick and why? (We already have a crib and pack and play.)

I had the halo but my friend let me borrow her cosleeper for a vacation and I wish I would have gotten that one. I loved how easy it was to get baby in and out and he slept better in it.

I gave the arms reach and really like it. I like having baby right beside me where I can see him and know he’s safe

I personally like the cosleeper. I love that it opens to make things easy instead of trying to lift baby up and out several times a night being exhausted.  This coming from a mom that breastfed a baby with medical issues and had to pump AND breastfeed every 2 hours For 3 months.

I had both and the Arms Reach is WAY BETTER!
For one it had a higher weight limit, it's sturdier and has a longer use because you don't have to have the side dropped down.
You can use it as a travel bed after you've stopped cosleeping because the weight limit is like 35lbs. 
All in all, it's just sturdier. 
Our Halo started to bend after a couple months of use when my LO was 15lbs (he started growing really fast in those first few months) and it got to the point where it was tilted enough to make him roll.

I had the halo 360 and I liked it, the side drops down so you can almost slide baby into the bassinet and it swivels like a dream. I’ve never tried the other one so really I can’t compare. I had a c section so this was nice didn’t have to get out of bed and no real lifting he baby out, using the 360.

If you're not getting a cosleeper, I'd SKIP the bassinet and get a pack n play with one built in. They outgrow them so fast and some babies don't even like them. The pack n play you'll get much more use of.
