I think I’m being ghosted???

Sooo I need a little advice. I’ve been talking to this guy for a little over a week and at the beginning we talked everyday all hours of the day. About a week in he didn’t respond to my message but I saw he opened it so I messaged him and we messaged a little and then he stopped. This happened again the next day but I didn’t message him to see if he’d respond. He didn’t until the following day. It happened again and this time he didn’t respond for two days and it was only a 😍😍😍 to a selfie I posted on Snapchat. He’s in the military and currently stationed across the country so I totally understand he can’t talk all the time. I just think it’s strange because he’s always telling me how he can’t wait to come home and see me and how we wishes I was there. I don’t think I’d be this nervous about being ghosted if it wasn’t so enthusiastic at the beginning. Am I being paranoid, crazy, and overreacting??! Pls help!!
