Guy help

So a guy I used to talk to recently messaged me after years, when we last talked we were so young and didn’t want the same thing so nothing ever came of it. But he messaged me and we have been texting every day for 3 days. Im not sure what his intentions were with messaging me and he hasn’t really led me to believe he wants to hang out and we haven’t flirted at all. Im just a little confused because when we talked before he knew of my extreme attraction to him so idk if he doesn’t remember or maybe he really just wanted someone to talk to be friends. I don’t know what to do or say to maybe make the move towards that step of flirting but maybe its too soon because we have only been talking for 3 days? I just need some advice. Im 22 and he’s a few years older than me. Should I wait it out a couple more days and see what he does or says? The gif doesn’t exactly match but I just want that “click” with somebody, maybe hopefully him????
