Like if you say ‘come to mommy’ will they crawl to you or if you say ‘where’s teddy?’- will they look at/pick up the teddy, if you say ‘ta’ will they hand you something, etc.

Yes. I can say things like stand up, come here, look at this, take a bite, where’s “so and so,” and a bit more. 
Now if I tell him “no” well... he understands but thinks it’s funny and doesn’t listen to me lol.

If I put out a hand or come close when she’s eating and ask her to share, she will either hand me what she’s playing with or shove her food in my mouth ☺️ and she will come if I say “come to mommy” with hand gestures. She also knows “up” and will lift her arms to be picked up. She figured that one out around 5 months ❤️

Partially - depends on her mood.   In good mood she’ll come, wave on bye, etc.  often she wont come when daddy’s around Lol. Also i find that she doesnt like to be told ‘No!’   She’ll repeat whatever she did on No (an october’s trait I think?)

Yup!! Where’s your belly, tongue, head, nose... come here, stand up, give me, show me the dog, bunny, ball...where’s Tessa..... I’m a special Ed teacher and have my masters in aba so I basically have been working on her receptive language skills and doing discrete trial since day 1!! I know I’m ridiculous but she’s happy and healthy and lives showing off!

My LO will crawl to me if I say ‘Come to mummy’ with hand gestures (moving both hands towards me) but won’t if I just say it. That is probably the only instruction he follows.
