What does he mean...?

Hello. I just turned 22. My bf and I have been talking for about 9 months, but it feels like I have known him for yeaaaars and years! Time flies by so fast but it’s only been 9 months. What does that mean?.

He is my first boyfriend, too!

My question is... earlier, my bf just got off work and he called me and asked me if he can go to the club with his friends and housemates because they have a free ticket (for him). He called me and asked for permission. My heart says no but my tongue says yes. He’s a good guy. Trust me. And, he goes to school full time and work full time. He raves and club only on special occasions. It’s been while since he’s out, too. Ahhhh

I told him yes. Then, he was like “I’m sorry! Are you mad at me?”

Like, did he said that to piss me even more? I know he asked to reassure himself that I’m okay with him going out... unfff.

Hahahah If I say you can go, just go. Don’t ask before I change my mind. 😭

What could’ve happened if I told him “Nope, you’re staying in tonight.” 😂

I’m not worrying about anything... I just wanna know what could’ve happened differently if I told him he couldn’t go....

Edit: okay, there has been few occasions when I tell him he can go and do whatever he wants, and he gets angry/upset at me. Like, he would say things like I’m pushing him away or I don’t want him to bother me so I let him go out.

I don’t understand.
