im getting very anxious! my son is about to be four and has only spent one night away from home which was with my MIL ,not my choice lol, but now he is gonna go spend the night at my moms and idk i want to cry im scared nervous and idk why! please give me some uplifting messages and tell me im not crazy!

You aren’t the only one. I daughter is 4 and frequently spends the night with my dad. No big deal. However, my best friend asked to take her out of town last month. I agreed because she had made pretty good friends with the cousins of my friend. My daughter called me the day after they arrived at their destination and she was sobbing hysterically. I almost cried. I wanted to fly out to bring her home but I didn’t. I trust my friend so that’s not an issue. It’s just a motherly instinct I think.
