Do your partners (men) lust vs love you during sex?

Question

My husband and I were talking, he says to me he has no emotion in sex at all even with others before we are married and it is just purely lust. He loves me but during sex for him there is no emotion of love. 
He says love is when he shows me affection or thinks of me but he says during sex there isn't emotion. Nor does love encourage him to have sex. It's just purely lust or the need to do it. 
I don't want bias women opinion, I would you to ask your partners what they think.

Depends on the situation, really. Sometimes the urge comes from the feeling of love, other times it comes from attraction. Neither one of us would ever have sex with someone we didn't love and I've never actually been with anyone but him. Either way, sometimes we need to be close emotionally, which is when the need stems from love. Other times, we are just going off pure attraction to each other. And that goes for both of us, not just him or not just me.

My husband : “If I didn’t love you, I wouldn’t be with you and I wouldn’t have sex. I don’t have sex with someone I don’t love. I must have an emotional, spiritual, and mental connection with that person. When I look at you, do anything with you, I see love and I feel love. I have never lusted you, I have always and will always love you.”

My ex was very much the kind of person who couldn't separate love and sex. It was not separate like that at all. He wasnt someone who could do casual sex. Maybe it is like that for your husband but its definitely not something all men feel. In my current relationship, we were friends for a long time. We didnt have sex until our relationship was more than just friends. It was important to the both of us that line wasnt crossed. We both have had casual relationships before but this was different than those relationships.

People express love differently. Just because when he has sex it isn’t liekthat for him doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you. It just doesn’t see it as a love act. He expresses his love differently. It’s not bad unless it bothers you.
