Relentless Yeast infection

So I have this yeast infection that I just can’t seem to shake. Cottage cheesy, light odor, itchy. I’ve been checked for STIs and I’m clean. My boyfriend and I are monogamous and use condoms anyways. He was checked before we started dating as well and is clean. So I know it’s not any of that. I’ve used high dose monistat twice in a month and then was prescribed 5 days of 100g difluctan. Still isn’t gone! I hate the gyno. But it looks like I’m gonna have to go again. I am just wondering if anyone has had an experience like this. What else would it be? Is it just a yeast infection? Do I have some sorta deadly disease?! 😅
