Have you ever broken up with your SO & reconciled months/years after?

If so, tell me your story how long after did you guys try again... did it work the second time? 💕

For me that has never worked out but I’m sure for many it has or definitely can you just should ask yourself why it ended in the first place & if you’ve both improved & are ready for a reset this time around.

I broke up with my now husband in high school. I was going through a lot. He ended up getting married they were married 8 years and got divorced. We ended up talking and getting together and have been married almost 3 years.

I only did that once, in high school. Broke up because neither were driving yet. Got back together, I wanted to break up after like 10 months but let him talk me out of it. The next year and a half turned into him being controlling, manipulative and abusive. So definitely something I would never do again.

My now husband and I split up for a couple months after we had been dating for 4 years. We got back together in July and it was really for the best. We both did a lot of growing during that time. Got engaged that December and now married 3 years with an almost 2 year old and baby on the way.

He ended things because he had found someone else while we were together. We were still living together (in separate rooms) and then she cheated on him. We started to be friends again and then started fooling around. I found out more things and told him I wanted nothing to do with him. And I ended up pregnant. Found out August 9th this year. So we have been getting along better. Still living together in separate rooms and planning on co parenting as of right now. But still fooling around. So if it happens, it happens.

My husband and I were separated by my choice back in April he decided to remain single until August, come to find out he had a girlfriend and everything during that time. Still trying to get over it but it bothers me every single day, not going to lie.

My high school boyfriend and I went our separate ways a few months after he moved for college and I was finishing up my last year of high school. We ended on good terms, just wasn’t meant to be...or so we thought. We both moved on, he joined the military and traveled and had a few girlfriends. I was with one guy for 4 years and had my daughter when I was 20. My daughter’s father and I split up when she was a year old. When I was 22, about 5 years after my high school boyfriend and I split, we started talking again then randomly (not really, he knew where I was going to be that night 😉) we ran into each other and the rest is history! Today is our 7th anniversary and we have an 8 month old son 💙
