Can contractions ... please help I’m at work

Can contractions feel like shooting pain throughout stomach ? It’s been happening for an hour. It comes and goes .😒 With pressure in my vagina . My stomach is hard when it happens. But I can’t tell if it’s the baby moving an hitting nerves or if it’s something else. It stops me in my tracks and I can’t talk through it. I literally have to breathe

I’ll be 37 weeks tomorrow
