Irregular periods

Anybody else with irregular periods is/ was it hard to get pregnant? Been trying over a year now and nothing. My body keeps playing tricks on me and makes me think I am but I always get a negative test. Now I’m 5 days late. I knew I was going to miss my period because I didn’t get any of the pre cramps. But now my moods are so crazy I’ll be happy then in a snap I’ll be pissed at the littles things or emotional. I have a slight uncomfortable feeling in my lower stomach. And some days are worse then others. I’ve definitely gained weight. I have the nausea without puking, sore boobs, fatigue etc but yet again another negative test. Is this normal for irregular periods? I don’t smoke and I quit caffeine and have been on prenatals.
