What is your newborns weight gain?

Just curious! FTM here and I’m wondering if my baby is gaining too much weight. At his 2 week check up he was 1 lb over birth weight and the pediatrician said that she didn’t worry because he was eating 2-3 oz every 2-3 hours but might be concerned if he was eating 4 oz or more every 2-3 hours. 
Well the past couple days he has been eating closer to 4 oz and at 3 weeks he is now 2 lbs over his birth weight. He is gaining so quickly!
Birth weight: 7.15 oz 
Weight when we left the hospital: 7.7 oz 
2 weeks: 8.15 oz 
3 weeks: 9.15 oz. 
I do exclusively pump do to latch issues as well.

Literally in the exact situation. My baby was 7’15 at birth and at his 2 week checkup today he’s 8’15. Doctor said he was perfectly healthy!

Discharge weight 6 pounds 3 oz, 2 days check up due to weight loss 6 pounds 8 oz and now she is 7 pounds 0.4 oz. Im balancing breast feeding,  pumping bottle feeding and supplementing with formula if needed. But she's healthy.

Lol I have a chunk too 😂 he was 8 lbs 4 oz at birth. By 2 weeks old he was 9 lbs 3 oz. I was pumping and bottle feeding due to latch issues those 2 weeks too. He’s 3 weeks old and we’re finally breastfeeding thanks to getting his lip and tongue ties fixed 🎉
honestly  though I wouldn’t be too concerned. Feed baby based on hunger cues and you’re good. Babies all grow at their own pace.

I’m wondering the same thing. He was born 7lbs 11 ounces 2 days after being discharged went to pediatrician appointment he weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces 2 week appointment he was 8 lbs 15 ounces. He is currently eating around 4 ounces pumped breast milk every 3-4 hours. Dr said at last appointment he is doing good. We will see what he weighs come next Friday

My son’s pediatrician said our son is one of the fastest growing babies he’s ever seen (weight-wise), and that our son is also very healthy. He told us not to worry too much about the numbers and just feed when he’s hungry. As long as our son is not spitting up milk regularly and we’re respecting his cues on when to eat and when to stop, I feel good about feeding based on his needs at this point (he’s 12 days old)
