How to clean my lady parts??

EDIT: Thank you everyone! I have come to the conclusion that nothing is wrong with me. I like my natural scent. He expects me to smell like the soaps And perfumes I buy but that’s not healthy and not happening. I asked him yesterday if I have been “stinking” and he said no nothing that has stood out to him. I am a very clean person so for him to even tell me that I have a foul odor erked me. I don’t have any type of infections though.

Okay so this is embarrassing.

So I have been struggling with staying fresh downstairs. My doctors haven’t found anything wrong and tell me my vagina is healthy but my SO always says I smell fishy.

I read that the clit needs to be cleaned throughly because it can get dirty.

How do I clean it? I clean the outside with soap but I only rinse the inside with warm water. But not everyone’s clit is inside. Is it okay to pull my lips open and clean the clit with soap? *i use dove btw*

It just hurts my feelings so much to have my man tell me to close my legs or to be laying in bed and he swears he can smell when I’m wet 😭
