Getting bub to sleep by himself (2weeks old tomorrow)

For two days now my bub will not sleep unless he is laying on someone or being held.. 😥 I get him to sleep and put him in his bassinet and boom, 20mins later he is cracking it! It hasn’t been too bad as my grandparents have been here and one of us are able to sit/sleep while he does (holding him). However, my grandparents leave tomorrow and I’ll be on my own. I’m stressing out already about him not being able to sleep unless I’m holding him and not being able to get anything done. I didn’t want to co-sleep either which has become my life for the last two nights.. 😓 Does anyone have any tips of how to get him to sleep on his own? 😭🙏
