2 of the same exact dream

I had this dream where I'm about to get married & then one of my old guy friends (tht I liked since the 7th grade, but we lost touch because, well let's just say we never dated but they're was definitely something their & I'm pretty sure tht he hates me now/mad at me.) But anyway, he shows up & tries to convince me not to marry tht guy & to marry him & whatever. I had tht same exact dream another time but tht was it, but I do actually tend to dream about him like dozens of times. What does tht mean, like I know its just dreams but on the other hand I keep thinking tht they're trying to tell me something?..
