Help! Is this normal?

Someone help a first time mama out! I'm 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby..this week I thought I was getting a UTI because of this pain that starts in my lower part of my stomach and follows through to my private area...I can now tell it's baby and not a UTI...it's like a bunch of pressure and it's causing a shooting pain down through to my entire private area. Is this normal?
