1cm dilated, how much longer??

Doctor says I’m 1cm dilated and I’m 39+2 how long does it take to get to 3 or 4cm? Also at what centimeter do they keep you in the hospital?

My friend was at 4cm for 8 weeks. My mom was at 6cm for 5 weeks. My sister in law went from 0-10 in 3 hours. Until your having strong regular contractions, it doesnt matter what your dilated to.

I was 1.5cm at my 39 week check up with my first. Doc gave me a membrane sweep, and I went to the hospital with regular contractions at 11am the next morning. I was 3cm when they triaged me, but went to 4cm an hour later and that’s when they admitted me. I delivered at 12:02am the next morning, so my labor from the time I got to the hospital to the time he took his first breath was 13 hours.

For what it’s worth I’m 1 centimeter dilated and I’m 31 weeks along. I was in a car accident a few weeks ago and they checked me at the hospital. My doctor said it doesn’t mean anything right now. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was 4cm for a month with my oldest ( preterm labor at 34 weeks lead me to be on bedrest til my water broke at 38 weeks 5 days) i was stuck at 2 for 3 weeks with my 6 year old. 
Honestly baby will come when their ready.

I was 2cm at 35 weeks with my first. I didn't go into labor until 38ws.
If you can do squats or lunges I heard they work wonders speeding up the process

I was 1cm from 39 weeks didnt change to 3cm until 41 weeks, but that's just me. Every womans body does it differently might be a day a week or 2 weeks no one really knows. You can try things to help the process along.
-go for walks 
-have sex 😏
-spicy foods
Etc.
