3 month old sleep regression?

My son is 3 months old & for the past few nights he has been really hard to put down. Crying, screaming when I put him in his crib at night. (He’s been sleeping in his crib since he’s been 8 weeks old.) He went from sleeping 8-9 hours at night & now waking up 2-3 times at night. Is this a mental leap or growth spurt? Has anyone experienced this?

Same over here! We’re up every 1-2 hours when we used to go 5+ hours. I’m slowly dying.

Yesss! Mine is doing the same thing it’s like I have a newborn again! He is up EVERY 3 HOURS ON THE DOT.

I was telling my friend the same thing about my 3 month old son. He used to only wake up 1x during the night and now he's really hard to get to sleep and wakes up every 3 hrs or so.

I seriously think something happens at 3 months. My daughter went from champion sleeper to a screaming, sleep refusing monster lol. She wouldn’t nap but for 10 minutes. Wouldn’t let me put her down. Wouldn’t sleep at night in her crib, on my chest, anywhere. I was so overwhelmed and exhausted that I cried. A lot. But after about 4 days she suddenly went back to her normal sleeping and smiled and was delightful again 😅

Could be the 3 month growth spurt? My guys 3 month and has been taking awful naps and been so hard to put down at night. I didn’t think it was a growth spurt because usually he gets really sleepy during those! I did put him on the scale today though and he’s almost 14 lbs now? I do think he has gotten bigger.
