Ingrown Hair or Not?

Hey ladies (and some gents lol)

I’ve had this bump just above where my underwear meets the crease in between my thigh and vag. (My underwear seam doesn’t touch it though). It started small, then went to big like you see below. After about a week, it went back to being the size of a pea. Well it’s been another week & it’s back to red, inflamed & painful to touch. I’m honestly thinking it might be a boil, but I don’t want to jump to conclusions.
