Clotrimazole cream?

I bought some Clotrimazole cream which is for fungal infections, because my vagina has been really itchy and inflamed over night and read that this cream is good for that but the thing is, my vagina is itchy and inflamed on the inside not the skin on the outside, and couldn’t find anything that could treat that. I’m not really sure what to do and don’t think I’m allowed to put it inside as may irritate it even more but if I put it on the outside I’m not sure if it will help get rid of it.

I would go to the doctor for help but I’m currently living at home from uni and I’m not registered to a doctors at home, and need it fixed asap with over the counter medicine or home remedies
