Appointments after IUI

My RE’s protocol is to make an appointment for 2 weeks after the IUI procedure.

I’m starting Femara today and going in for a follicle scan in day 10. They’ll let me know when to trigger and schedule my IUI.

This is our second cycle doing this but I don’t want to wait two weeks after my IUI to see the doctor. Shouldn’t my blood be checked after ovulation to make sure my progesterone levels are good?

Whats the protocol in your office after an IUI?
