Random Smells

Aside from not being able to take out the trash anymore or gagging when someone wears perfume...my sense of smell hasn’t been too sensitive so far. However today, I came home from grocery shopping and randomly smelled rubbing alcohol. There was no alcohol of any form anywhere in the room. No cleaning products had been used. Nothing. But I just randomly got a whiff of rubbing alcohol. My husband thought I was nuts.

I’ve also periodically smelt like a weird rotting smell. Almost like rotting flowers in dirty flower water or like old raw chicken.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Have you come across random smells and can’t figure out where it’s coming from?
