Is it crazy that I want another child so soon ?

Hey guys! So I just gave birth in 07/2019. Everything went great although after HOURS of labor I ended up needing a c section. Gave birth to my first born , babygirl, healthy. I am now almost 8 weeks PP . Doctor said all my future pregnancies have to be c section as well. BUT I low key want another one. Is it too soon? I do want my kids to be close in age but I was told by many to wait to recover . Is it normal to still want another so soon or is it hormones?

Probably hormones. I understand you... I had my son 6 weeks ago and already think about his future sibling. I had a vaginal birth but decided to wait 1.5-2 years. If I were you I would wait at least a year aswell, sooner would be very risky with the scar. It can hinder implantation or growth of the embryo (resulting in early miscarriage) or it can rupture later in pregnancy and put yours and babies life in danger. Also your abdominal muscles need to strengthen again, and pelvic floor too even if you didn't push a baby through, the pregnancy weight and contractions are straining it. If it doesn't heal properly you risk a leaky bladder.
For now.. enjoy the baby you have! She'll never be your only child again. And I wish you a happy healthy 2nd pregnancy at a considerate time😘💖👣

Well I got pregnant 7 months PP because I just couldnt wait for #2! We wanted a close age gap and then to be done having kids. I had a c section so we waited purposely until after 6 months to try. Its probably hormones because I had baby fever set in at about 1 month PP! It never went away though.😂

You had a csection, it is advised to wait months for your body to recover. Take your time and focus on your new baby. Congratulations

Nope! I had my 1st daughter after having 2 boys.. I was so in love and broody I had another 10 months later 😂 best thing I ever did, the bond between them is amazing💋

Hormones! You should wait 18 months after a c section or risk complication with subsequent pregnancies.

My midwife said if you have a c section you need to wait 18 months before getting pregnant again.
