Should I keep or return these sandals? 👡

Hi! I'm going to Europe tomorrow and have been trying to get a hold of these Sorel sandals for a while now. I finally found them at my mall today. They only had them in a size 7, which is my size.

They're insanely comfortable, however I can't tell if they're too big. The soles seem to be the right size, but my toes hardly peek through the thick bands. Would you say they're cute/versatile? Should I return them or keep them? If I return them I would probably buy a tan version in a half size smaller, but they would only get here after my trip. Thanks!
