FTM husband working night shift

Help. I'm freaking out a bit today. For some reason, it just now hit me. I'm due in a month with my first. My husband will be taking 6 (maybe 8) weeks off. I'll be taking 12 weeks.

My husband is going to be working night shift when he returns and it has me freaked out. How the heck are we going to work this out? He works all night 11p-7a, then comes home.. normally he's up for a few hours, maybe falls asleep around 9-10a. He wakes up at 5p some days depending on how much sleep he gets.

I just keep thinking that he's going to be gone all night and sleeping all day and that leaves me at home with a newborn and a dog to take care of..... I'm freaking out. How do people do this?!
