School failing kids part 2
So a while back I wrote about feeling like my daughters school failing her. She’s way behind on math . Well I’ve been communicating (if that’s what we wanna call it) with my daughters school and every person from the principal to the counselor to her teachers are no help. From we just have to wait and see to idk answers to we don’t have the resources answers .. that’s in fed up. I’ve asked them to send her home extra work , ive asked that they put her in a intervention program . Their answer oh we can’t do that. I’ve even asked if they knew of any resources for tutoring ect our side of the school that may help . Nope. So despite my best efforts of trying to work wrung them it’s a one sided conversation and up hill battle.
I am now at a position of do I pay 100 dollars a week for tutoring privately or do I just switch schools to a school that has more resources.
Now here is my Struggle , the school with the more resources is a private Catholic school (which we’re not religious but nothing against ). I just don’t want to force it on her. Or do I pay 100 dollars a week for a tutor that may or may not help.
Idk I’m just really struggling with the fact that he school we trusted with our kid and her education is not helping in any means and making it a up hill battle to get my child to be where she needs to be . We work with her daily at home so we’re doing what we can and trying to get more help!
If you’ve made it thus far thanks for reading and sorry it was so long 👀🤨
