PLEASE HELP IM SO STESSED

Okay so I have a friend let’s call her Sarah and she and I have been butting heads a lot lately but we work through it because she’s more of a sister than a friend. Now my bf and I have been dating for a couple months and he makes me really happy. Sarah however doesn’t approve of me dating him because he originally went for her.

He met her a couple months before he even knew me and she has a bf so when he realized that he stopped going after her. Our other friend was trying to set my bf and I up for a while but neither of us pursued a relationship because he didn’t want me to feel like a second choice and I didn’t want to date him just because our other friend wanted us to. But then we really got to know each other and second time around we end up dating. Sarah doesn’t like my dating him because she thinks he just wants me because he can’t have her and she thinks he is just playing me. I understand that she is just trying to protect me but he and I have talked about our intentions and he is really good to me.

Sarah and I have been fighting recently because I have felt like she has been trying to control me but this last time I really thought we fixed things but this issue of her not approving of my bf keeps causing problems what should I do? Do I dump him? I’ve already tried talking to her with no luck do I call it quits with her?
