Do you think farting with your SO defines how much you are in love with each other?

I won’t start arguing about the need to be comfortable with you SO, but farting? Why should that be the definition of love? 
I was just casually scrolling through some comments on a post, and a girl said that she farted so badly that her bf or husband vomited because of the smell...

My husband and I obviously understand that it’s human bodily functions but we still just don’t go around farting around/on each other. I mean if you have to you have to, but it’s not something we find hilarious or whatever. If I can help it, I much rather not fart around him 🤷🏻‍♀️ just how I am.

But I’ll never fart in front of him. 
We’ve been together 10 years and it’s never happened. 
Well, let me rephrase that— I’ll fart freely if I know he can’t hear it lol. So if we are at a concert or somewhere else really loud then it’s fair game, but I’ll never admit to it 😂.

My boyfriend and I don’t find farting that big of a deal. If he needs to do it and it smells, so what. It’s not the end of the world. We find it funny, yes I know that sounds childish 🤣. I’m not going to run into another room to hide a fart, it’s a completely normal bodily function. If I’m in love with someone it means I can 100% be myself and be comfortable around them, and yes that includes farting and anything else that some consider gross.

Honestly I’ve never had a boyfriend but with all my friends and family we joke ab it and let it rip around each other 😂 we find it funny and make jokes. 
Now I’m talking to this guys and he is the complete opposite. He says “ladies aren’t suppose to fart/poop” like BOY what? Nah uh nope not for me. Get over yourself

Love is shown in INFINITE ways...one can’t pin point love on a bodily function 😂 however I do think it has an indication of how comfortable you are with a person - SO or other. I hate to put on my sociologist hat, but we have a Front Stage and back stage. Front is an act, we wouldn’t fart in front of people who belong in the front stage like strangers, our boss, acquaintances. Behind closed doors...well. I’ll fart in front of my family, a few friends (mostly girls) and my boyfriend. Especially my boyfriend...
