Do OPKs have to be taken at th exact same time every day?

I'm using clearblue digital. I usually take them at 8 am, but would it be fine if I take them at 7-7:30 am some days?
*I always thought they needed to be taken in the evening as well, but these say in the instructions that it can be taken with FMU, and that's what works out best for me.

I think give or take an hour or so is fine, but you should try to take them in the evening for more accurate results!

I always took my OPK when I got home from work (around 3 or 4). I read several places they shouldn’t be taken first thing in the morning.

That timing should be fine as long as it’s the FMU. If I remember correctly the cheapies or bbt needed to be the same time of day not clear blue advanced which I used for over a year with consistent results
