I have a crazy question for whoever wants to answer it. My dream has always been to have a child. Well I didn't know this when I got married but later found out my husband is infertile. We are on the rocks of divorce and I'm on his health insurance. I'm thinking about fulfilling my dream on his policy and trying out IUI with a sperm donor. However I do not want him to be the father bc I don't know if we will work out, his family doesn't want us together and I do not want my child to be around people who dont like me. The question is....can I actually do this without him being the father? I'm sure this isn't very common but I dont have my own health insurance that covers fertility and he does. Please don't hate, we all do things that are selfish or however you want to view it. I just want to get what I want.
