To the mothers who’ve had c-sections: Did your mother have one as well?

I’m not having a baby any time soon but I’m just curious to know if having a c-section is hereditary in anyway. My mom had one for all 3 of her pregnancies.

I'm creepily late on this... But I really need to comment on this!!!
My mom was an emergency c-section. I was an emergency c-section )My mom also had an x-ray done later that claimed her pelvis was too small to ever fit a baby through. All my grandma, mom and I are very small framed with narrow pelvises. So needless to say I had some concerns 🙄) 
My son was born naturally. He was also 1 week late while I was 4 weeks early and my mom 2. My grandma and mom also couldn't breastfeed, they tried but didn't have enough milk. Here I am ebf the 3rd month and my baby is gaining plenty.

As far as I know, they are not hereditary. My mom had to have one with me because she was ill with the flu at the time and was too weak to continue to push after several hours of labor. 
I had to have one with my daughter for completely different reasons.

I'm not a mother yet, but both my mother and her mother had to have c-sections because they both only got to 4cm even after hours and hours of labor. So I'm pretty much expecting it.

I have 2 siblings. My mum went natural for my brother and sister, and I was a c-section. My sister has had 2 c-sections, and I think I will too!

To clarify, I am not a mother but my mom had to have four c sections so I had the same reservations. She said they aren’t hereditary.
