Confused about natural or epidural 😩

From day 1 I was conflicted on which route to take regarding natural birth or epidural. Then my friend had a baby naturally and she did so awesome and was happy with her decision. Her story inspired me to go the natural way.... until I followed the “Empowered Birth Project” on Instagram and sound countless up-close/graphic delivery videos. I then decided for sure I’m taking an epidural. Now my mother is insisting on being in the room and she is also insisting I don’t take an epidural because 27 years ago my aunt almost died from one 🤦🏼‍♀️ (true story, but still). So.. helppppp! Did any of you delivery naturally and then regret it? Is passing out from pain a thing? I used to black out almost every time I got my period, so I can only imagine birth pains are a million times worse!
