Is the milk bad?

Okay so I know it’s late over here on the east coast but yesterday after my lunch pump I unscrewed my spectra flange from the bottle and the white piece that the milk drips through was sliding off. Without thinking I tried to push it back on but then it fell into the milk. Now I work at a school so who knows the germs... is the milk a waste? Should I not feed it to my son because it’s contaminated? Help a worried mama out 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Wash your hands and the surface around you before doing anything with pumping. You would already feel more secure knowing at least your hands were clean.

I’ve done that tons of times. I just pour the milk into a new bottle slowly and when the bill gets to the edge I grab it. That way I didn’t have to dip my finger in the milk to get it.

It’s a very hard question personally I wouldn’t but I have an oversupply and would never want to risk the possibility.
That might just be me I worry so much over that stuff though.
