Size clothes for baby?

Just wondering what size clothes your taking in baby’s hospital bag,my little boy is measuring big and most of the newborn things only go up to around 8/9lbs just wondering what size clothes your packing in baby’s bag? First baby so no idea of size

I have heard that the measurements can be off by 2 pounds in either direction so I’m gonna take a newborn outfit and a 0-3 months outfit

I’m taking premie and newborn outfits, my baby is measuring small.

As of right now I’ve only packed newborn. My first was 8.7 pounds and 21.5 inches long and he fit into newborn best during our hospital stay. If I go over my due date I’ll be taking some 0-3 though just in case!

Newborn and 0-3. With my first we just had her in a diaper and swaddled in a halo sleep sack in the hospital (for easy diaper changes and skin to skin time during nursing). Our little girl only wore an outfit to go home in, so I’m only bringing 2 outfits with me this time.

I'm with everyone else. I have a newborn and a 0-3 just in case. I'm measuring a little big so I took the preemie size out.

I have a NB, 0-3mos., and a preemie outfit just in case. My daughter was born at 38 +3 and was 5lbs and the preemie fit perfectly.
