Baby coming early ?

Question

Background info, last pregnancy I felt baby drop at around 36.5 weeks, was checked at 37 weeks at was 2-3cm dilated, 90% effaced, 0 station, had baby at 40 weeks +3 (really 40 weeks by when i think I ovulated)
This time I felt baby drop a few days ago, so let’s say 35.5 weeks
Yesterday at my 36 week appointment I was 3 cm dilated, 90% effaced, +1 station.
Midwife tells me she would bet $10k that I would have baby by 38 weeks, but I’m thinking all this stuff is so similar to last time but she says it’s my second pregnancy so it’s different. Does anyone have experience with this, when did you have second baby with early dropping/dilation?

I wish these things could be predicted!! As you know from your first, you can be dilated for weeks and still go to due date or later. 
But, it’s your second, so ya never know! 
With my first I never got my cervix checked and I went into labor at 38+3. Wasn’t really expecting it. 
Hoping this time baby is ready around 38 weeks!! But, who knows. We’ll see. :)

My first was six days late and my second was one day late. With my third, i was induced one day early but he would’ve been late too. I keep hoping multiple pregnancies means I’ll finally go at least a day or two early but for me, they have followed the same pattern. 😼 
As far as dilation/dropping, i didn’t do either until i was in labor with my first and second. With my third, i dropped early and dilated a little but it didn’t make a difference. I haven’t yet been checked for this pregnancy but i dropped at 33-34 weeks.
