Where were you when your water broke?

If you don't mind sharing!! I'm 32w4d with my first and I just realized that this shit is coming QUICK 😂
I had an image of my water breaking in bed, and then had a mini anxiety attack at the thought of having to buy a new bed?? I don't know, is that necessary?? Is it easy to clean? What happens if I break in the grocery store and my hospital bag is in my car and we happen to drive my husband's truck that day? I need stories/experiences please 😂

Mine broke in bed, I’d invest in a mattress protector! Just Incase! Haha. They aren’t terribly expensive, and it saved our mattress!

Its actually usually not like you see in the movies lol. You can buy a mattress protector if you're worried about your water breaking in bed. But most people's water doesn't break until active labor. My first they broke my water at the hospital at 4cm (which they shouldn't have done but long story). With my second my water broke at 10cm.

I put a couple of towels under my sheets from 35 weeks just in case and they soaked it up fine - you can also get the potty trainings pads they put on toddler beds to use if you are worried :)

Many peoples water doesn’t break until I’m active labor at the hospital lol. Mine broke all over my parents bedroom carpet though 😂 it was Christmas Day and I had been trying to sleep since we were over there and was miserable. Got up to pee and just.... gush. Only thing we had with us was the car seat and it wasn’t even installed yet. 3 weeks early. My parents went to our house to grab us our stuff over the next couple of days. It all worked out fine. As for your bed, maybe buy one of the waterproof mattress covers if you’re worried? My mom was able to easily spray and clean the carpet no problem though.

#4 was a second trimester loss, and I was induced to deliver and broke on its own. 
#5 - I’m only 7 weeks so who knows 🤷‍♀️

Mine hasn’t broke yet, I’m 33 weeks, but I recently put the mattress protector back on my bed just in case it happens in bed! Lol, I hear that’s what happens a lot of times.
