Monistat again?

I’ll begin by saying I have an appointment next week. In August I was having alot of itching in my genital area and my doctor gave me a pill for a yeast infection and told me to get monistat. My STD tests came back negative, and the symptoms were relieved in a few days. Now I am experiencing the same symptoms, and I’m wondering if it would be appropriate to get monistat again even if I used it about 3 weeks ago in the mean time to relieve symptoms, my appointment is until Thursday
