Mother in law and being in the delivery room

I thought my MIL was ok with not being there, she never asked. But today she brought it up. My husband stood firm and said no because I don’t want it. She is now hurt saying this is her last chance to witness a birth because her other daughter in law wouldn’t let her with the two births she had. I’m feeling a little guilty now about saying no. But I also know if I say yes my mother will be hurt (though my mother witnessed my first birth as I was a single mom at the time with no support). 😣

I am extremely happy that my husband stands up for me and my decisions. He also agrees with me with not having her there. She’s a lovely woman but is pushy she controlling and would interrupt the doctors and nurses (I’ve experienced this with other appointments). She said she only wants to be there for 5 mins 😂
