Convertible car seat or five point harness stroller?

Question

Any babies in a convertible car seat? Or using their stroller without the car seat? How are they doing? My guy loathes his car seat in the car or on stroller rides. We’re going to take advantage of Targets 20% trade-in and get him a convertible car seat. That means he’ll start using his stroller without the car seat too. The stroller has a 5 point harness and can recline well. He’s almost 3 1/2 months and has good head control. Any advice?

Got rid of baby car seat at 10 weeks, he just used to scream in it. Hes mych happier in his big boy seat. Its still suitable from birth & has lots of padding which can be removed as he gets older. Also never used the carseat on pram, as we are reusing my eldests pram, altho think my baby ready to be reclined a little, we go away next week so be easier to trasition him once we home.

We are going to get a convertible car seat next month, the babe and I are so over the infant car seat. It’s such a pain to get her in and out. Girlie has been in her stroller seat for about a month now. Our stroller has a snug seat insert for babies younger than three months to use so she started with that. We’re thinking we can remove it now because her head control is very strong and she prefers to sit up. We just recline the seat a tad and she’s good to go.

My mother in law watches my kids and puts my 3 month old in the 5 point harness of the stroller reclined. She said it was too hard to put her in the carseat and then the carseat on the stroller. She said my daughter loves it.

We haven’t gotten the convertible seat yet but my daughter hates her car seat too so we went to the 5 point harness and she loves it. Ours can incline and decline as much as she needs

My baby prefers the stroller with the 5 point harness and multiple levels of recline over the car seat stroller. She’s 11 weeks, and we use a Boppy head control insert to keep her wobbly head from falling over. She loves it

We’ve been in our stroller with 5 point harness since she was only a few weeks old! But we did have an infant insert that has good support for her head and neck, and the stroller seat tilts almost all the way back too.
