Intense Contractions?

Intense contractions- bringing me to tears. 6-7 minutes apart for 45 seconds. 
Is this Braxton Hicks? I wasn’t dilated at all at my appointment yesterday. 
39 weeks.

Do they stop if you change positions or drink water and lay down? Are they becoming more frequent? I’d say by the sounds of it they are real.
