is this normal?

i went to the ER at 10w4d to have my baby checked on because i hadn’t been able to get an appointment with my doctor. they told me i had a bladder infection and gave me antibiotics. the baby was fine btw.
i’m currently 12w1d and last night i started these sharp pains all over my belly. then when i laid down on my back it happened again but it was way more intense. i laid on my right side and i had this pain in what i believed to be my bladder. 
should i go back or wait it out?

You should get it checked out, but not in the ER. Go to your regular doctor or your OB.

You should call your OB, or go to a walk in clinic. The ER is for emergencies, and while UTI's can become serious if not treated properly, it is something that can be treated without tying up resources that should be available for life and death situations. Please do call your doctor and be checked though, this can turn to a kidney infection rather quickly if not treated.

OBs typically dont see you until 8-9 weeks + so thats normal. Anything sooner is too early. We have all played the waiting game. If you are having symptoms of a UTI just call your OB on what to do. Even if you havent seen her yet, they will have no problem helping you.  It needs to be treated. But the ER isnt a place for a casual check up or a UTI. None of those are an Emergency.

Go back doesn’t hurt to check, antibiotics might not have worked it happens. Could also be round ligament pain I felt the same when I had that x
