Braxton Hicks?

Question

I was woken up by cramping which felt like period cramps. It lasted like 3-5 minutes. Is this braxton hicks? I heard it felt like period cramps! 😩I was scared I was having contractions! It was horrible. Reminded me of my period. Is anyone else having them ? I’m 26 weeks.

Drink lots and lots of water. I went to the OB it felt like every week for BH 😫😫😫 follow up with your OB if it gets worse or if their is any bleeding

Depends how far along you are? Sometimes Braxton Hicks contractions can cause slight cramping but I’ve been having the same issue, period like cramping that lasts a few minutes but doesn’t get any stronger and come at irregular times and I was told it’s prodromal labour (false labour) which can happen for a few hours/ few days or weeks.
Could also be round ligament pains I found they give me period cramps also X
